Con inmensa sorpresa, sobre todo con profundo pesar, nos enteramos hoy que nuestro apreciado amigo y Miembro Honorario de la LCRA, Alfred Laun K3ZO ha fallecido.
Recordamos a Fred por su inocultable compromiso con la LCRA; siendo miembro del cuerpo diplomático de su país en Colombia, apoyó la actividad radioaficionada de muchas formas y a la LCRA con su respaldo.
La noticia nos genera mucha tristeza. Ojalá su familia encuentre la fortaleza para afrontar tan difícil trance. Paz en la tumba de nuestro apreciado amigo, Alfred Laun, K3ZO ex HK3NBB (SK).

With surprise and deep regret, we learnt today that our dear friend and Honorary Member of the LCRA, Alfred Laun K3ZO, has passed away.
We remember Fred for his unwavetable commitment to the LCRA; being a member of his country’s diplomatic corps in Colombia, he supported amateur radio activity in many ways and to the LCRA with his support.
The news gives us a lot of sadness. Hopefully his family will find the strength to face such a difficult moment. Rest in peace our dear friend, Alfred Laun, K3ZO ex HK3NBB (SK).
